Antique Maison is owned and operated by Ed and Sylvia Young, natives of New Orleans, LA. Ed grew up in the furniture and antique business in New Orleans, learning from his father who started an antique business in 1932. For 45 years Ed has been buying, selling, and appraising antiques; while Sylvia worked as a Real Estate Broker. After leaving New Orleans, Sylvia opened the tuxedo/bridal/costume shop - "Bon Temps Roulè" - in Bay St. Louis, MS. She continued running this business until Hurricane Katrina hit in August 2005. Post-Katrina, Sylvia and Ed opened "Antique Maison" to help the people of the Bay/ Waveland areas replace precious heirlooms they lost in the storm.
