Antique Maison is owned and operated by Ed and Sylvia Young, natives of New Orleans. Ed grew up in the furniture and antique business in New Orleans, learning from his father who started an antique business in 1932. For 45 years Ed has been buying, selling, and appraising antiques; while Sylvia was a Real Estate Broker.

After leaving New Orleans, Sylvia opened a bridal and costume shop, Bon Temps Roulè in Bay St. Louis, MS. She continued running this business until hurricane Katrina hit in August 2005. Post-Katrina, Sylvia and Ed opened Antique Maison to help the people of the Bay/ Waveland area replace some of the precious heirlooms they lost in the storm.

Antique Maison showcases goods from approximately 25 antique dealers. These dealers come together to participate in "Second Saturday"-a gathering of shop owners in Old Town Bay St. Louis on the second Saturday of each month. The Second Saturday "festivities" run from 4:00 to 9:00 PM, with food and drink provided by the shop owners and dealers. For more info about "Second Saturday", call Antique Maison.
